KOTKAS CUP Tournament rules
The player of the club may be used by different groups during the tournament, in case the age of the player does not exceed the age limit.
The player can not be used in other club teams of the same age group.
The size of the team:
11 players on the field (groups C and B);
7 players on the field (groups
G, F, E, D);
5 players on the field (groups H, I)
The game times:
2 x 20 min (the finals 2 x 25 min). In the play-
off penalty kicks follow the final whistle of the game (3). In the finals ...
Fields of play and balls: The games will be played on grass fields, size of the field is at least 80 x 50 m (B, C),
50 x 40 m (G, F, E, D) or 25 x 20 m (I, H). All the games
will be played with high quality adidas balls:
B-15 ja C-13 balls nr. 5, D-12, E–11, F–10, G-9 balls nr. 4 and
H–8 ja I–7 balls nr. 3.
Format of tournament: The classes will be divided into groups of 4 – 6 teams where one round is played. The two top teams of each group will played play-off games. The final order of each group will be decided on the points earned, so that the team
having gained most points, take the first position, etc.
In case of being tied of points, the ranking will be decided:
1. Matches played between the teams concerned;
2. Goal differents, goal scored for and against;
3. General goal difference;
4. Number of goals scored for;
5. Discipline penalties (warnings, withdrawals);
6. Drawing of lots.
Jury of the tournament: All possible disputes and protests will be judged
by a three-man jury, the decision of the jury will be final.
Referees: All referees will be appointed by the Football Association of Estonia.
Match regulations:
1. Player is eligible only for the club that he is registered for during the tournament;
2. All teams shall present the organisers of the tournament a registering sheet prior to the first game. Also each player has to present the ID document (copy);
3. The size of the team is max 15 players;
4. The substitutes are free, to and fro;
5. The team shall be at the competition place 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the match;
6. The player received the red card, skips the next match;
7. In case of both teams wearing the shirts of the same colour, the team, mentioned second in the programme is obliged to change their shirts;
8. The team that interrupts the tournament, shall pay 800 EEK fine.
To team managers:
1. The person appointed to the Team Manager shall be responsible in all respects for the action of this team on and off the fields;
2. The managers are reminded to make sure, that their players shall have sleeping bags if the players take advantage of the lodging arrangements at schools;
3. The organisers of the tournament shall not be responsible for any injuries, sickness and theft.
Protests:
A protest shall be de delivered within an hour after the match in question and
pay the protest charge of 500 EEK that will be returned in case the protest is accepted. The result of the protest will be decided by the jury. The decision of the jury will be final.
Walkover: If there are not at least
8 players (B ja C), 6 players (D, E, F, G) or 4 players
(H, I) on the field within 5 minutes after the official kick off time,
the match will be considered a walkover and the tournament tables will be entered the score of 0:3 loss and – 1 point.
Awards: All the participants will be awarded with diplomas. The three top teams will be
awarded with trophies and players will be awarded with medals and best players with special prizes.
